The Stakeholders Workshop – Monday, 7 September 2026 | 17:30-20:00, Cultural Center of Agios Athanasios, Amathounta – was co-organized by CLIMINVEST partners Amathounta Municipality, Novoville and Innov-acts. CLIMINVEST and its bankability tools were presented to a group of engineers, policy officers and local finance actors. Along with the main talk, focused presentations of the project’s urban retrofitting approach were given. Structured feedback (via questionnaires) and free-form feedback were collected on how the approach can best be shaped to serve citizens, including the most vulnerable, low-income ones, and on how incentives for private funders can be increased.
People living in old buildings were also spoken to, as were those who retrofit buildings and those who could potentially finance them. Some of the findings are already driving new functionalities for the CLIMINVEST bankability assistant and other practices, blueprints and digital tools.
Overall, an effort was made to balance three complementary conversations:
🏠 Citizens & Policy: Comfort, cost, and cutting through the red tape
🔧 Engineering: What actually works on the ground and how success can be monitored
💰 Investment: The numbers that make retrofits fundable
