The CyberAId and VIGILANCE projects participated in Data Week 2026, held in Oslo, Norway, on May 5–6. The event was organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) in collaboration with IFE, NTNU, SINTEF, and the Western Norway Research Institute, with support from The Research Council of Norway.

Under the theme “Data Fjords: Unlocking AI for Industry and Society,” the event focused on data value creation and the role of artificial intelligence in supporting innovation across sectors.

As part of the programme, CyberAId and VIGILANCE contributed to the session titled “AI Driven Cybersecurity: Data, Agents, and Guardrails for a Resilient Digital Europe,” alongside the projects ENFORCE_EU, CTIS4NIS, 5G-TACTIC, and ACT4FOOD. The session explored how AI, data-driven intelligence, and agentic systems are influencing the future of cybersecurity and cyber resilience in Europe.

Moderated by John Soldatos, the session included contributions from Christos-Antonios Gizelis, George Manias, Odysseas Kokkinos, Wissam Mallouli, Valeria Popescu, Nikolaos Ntampakis, and Nikolaos Alexopoulos. The programme combined project presentations, expert talks, and a roundtable discussion on the development of adaptive and trustworthy cybersecurity ecosystems aligned with European policy objectives.

The session provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives and present ongoing work from European initiatives working toward resilient and AI-enabled cybersecurity solutions.
