AGORA – trAining younG researchers On shaping Metaverse for businessand social vAlue” project, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)Doctoral Network.
AGORA (101119937) project is a research and educational programme ofdoctoral studies which aims to train the next generation of Metaverseresearchers and practitioners who will be able to address theecosystem challenges identified and co-create new knowledge andsolutions across sectors and industries. AGORA encapsulates thecollaboration between academic and non-academic partners offeringcross-disciplinary academic excellence and hands-on industrialexperience insights.
AGORA will recruit 17 PhD candidates. The students will be part of aEuropean doctoral network of Universities and Industries and will betrained on conducting high-quality research, research exploitation andcommercialisation and will receive tailored personal developmentguidance on different career avenues.
The project started on September 1st, 2023 and will last for 48 months.
The project consortium includes University of Nicosia, AudenciaBusiness School, Durham University, University of Adger, Athens Centerfor Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Maggioli SPA, Innov-Acts LTD,Unparallel Innovation, MeticBaltic, Future Intelligence, Aegis ITResearch, CollegeLink.
INNOV-ACTS will contribute to the AGORA project through therecruitment and supervision of two researchers to be enrolled in adoctoral programme. It will also contribute to the training andresearch activities of AGORA and will be part of the project’ssupervisory board and offer individual project mentoring as well asmentor the career development plan of researchers.
