On November 20th and 21st, 2024, Milan, Italy, became the meeting ground for the FAME project’s 6th General Assembly (GA). Hosted by GFT Technologies, the assembly gathered project partners to discuss progress and plan for the upcoming months. This year’s assembly meeting was not just about discussions; it also included a hackathon aimed at improving the FAME Platform.

Each of FAME’s seven pilot projects also had an opportunity to showcase the work they are conducting on real-world applications of FAME’s technologies. From a powerful financial recommendation engine for families to the simplification of the EU funds application process and the assessment of quality and monetary value of data assets, these pilots continue to demonstrate the transformative impact of FAME.

The second day centered on communication and engagement actions, important workshops on the future of FAME, and advancements in FAME’s Learning Centre (LC)—a cornerstone of the project’s mission to foster education and enable tech and non-tech users alike to unlock the potential of the data economy. Currently, FAME’s LC offers a variety of courses, such as:

  • ESG Integration: Accelerating Sustainable Investments in Modern Portfolios,
  • Open Banking: Revolutionizing the Financial Ecosystem, and

Hackathon
